  • The Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM of the People's Republic of China , formerly Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Co-operation is an executive agency of the State Council of China. It is responsible for formulating policy on foreign trade, export and import regulations, foreign direct investments, consumer protection, market competition and negotiating bilateral and multilateral trade agreements. The ministry also works with the World Trade Organization and APEC on behalf of the People’s Republic of China government.
  • The BOFT was formally established on January 1, 1969. Over the past 30 years, BOFT has undergone many structural adjustments to meet changes in the international trade and economic environment. The BOFT continue to reinforce the following tasks:  actively participating in WTO negotiations as well as APEC and OECD activities; strengthening bilateral relations and negotiating FTAs; promoting trade liberalization and facilitation; and selecting key markets to help industries radicate in Taiwan expand their export markets. The BOFT will also draw up concrete measures to add new momentum to Taiwan’s foreign trade, upgrade the competitiveness of our exports, and attain the goal of sustainable economic development.
  • China International Electronic Commerce Center (CIECC) is an government agency operating under the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, that develops electronic information projects. CIECC also facilitates international cooperation and exchanges in the electronic commerce with other countries at the state level.
  • The Institute for Information Industry (III) was established in 1979 as a non-governmental organization, jointly sponsored by the Taiwan government and prominent private enterprises, to strengthen the development of the information industry in Taiwan. The III provided guidance and assistance to establish Aware Electronics Inc.,Ltd in 2006.
  • Trade-Van was formed in 1996 to ensure more effective utilization of Taiwan's first EDI information exchange network. Our original major goals were to improve and expand a range of value added information services, including customs clearance automation, and paperless trading. The rapid success of Trade-Van’s customs clearance automation helped the large number of Taiwan manufacturing companies to export their products across the globe.
